Many times it will be by $100 to $1000 less because Melgard’s purchases in large volume and carries an inventory of nearly 5000 memorials. We work hard to save you money!
BEST SERVICE
Normal delivery time is 7 to 8 weeks (depending on the time of year) from the time of purchase if memorial is in stock. This fast delivery time is because we stock nearly 5000 memorials and we can begin designing and lettering almost immediately.
LARGE DESIGN & LETTERING SELECTION
Melgard’s uses Adobe Illustrator to create computer drawings to show you just how the finished memorial will look.
EXTRAS INCLUDED
There is NO additional cost for verses, epitaphs and “parents of …” when integrated with the front side lettering.

Our family owned business is over 134 years old and we have designers, carvers and installers with many years of experience. Our 3 designers have the experience to help serve you with the best ideas for a beautiful memorial.
BEST FOUNDATION WORK
We now install most of our monuments with granite foundations when possible at no additional charge. If the foundation should tip or settle we WILL straighten it free of charge within the first 10 years.
PERSONALIZED DESIGNS
We will personalize designs to make it perfect for YOU, our customer. Personalized designs are popular because they will tell the story of the person(s) for whom the memorial is for.
